Innovating Bone Healing

At MechanoNexus, we develop cutting-edge treatments for orthopedic conditions, focusing on bone regeneration and repair. By harnessing mechanotransduction and advanced stem cell therapies, we create innovative solutions that enhance the body’s natural healing processes.


Our first breakthrough treatment, Prosopomech, targets fracture repair in individuals with osteogenesis imperfecta (OI), utilising periosteal stem cells engineered for increased mechanoresponsiveness. As we grow, we aim to expand our technology to address a wider range of bone fragility disorders, non-union fractures, and post-surgical bone healing challenges.

MechanoNexus is a pharmaceutical company dedicated to developing innovative treatments for orthopedic conditions. Our focus is on harnessing mechanotransduction and advanced stem cell therapies to accelerate bone healing and improve patient outcomes.


Currently, MechanoNexus is developing Prosopomech, its first innovative treatment for fractures in individuals with Osteogenesis Imperfecta (OI). This therapy focuses on periosteal stem cell transplantation, enhancing the mechanosensitivity of the cells to improve fracture healing when combined with physiotherapy.


Unlike existing treatments, Prosopomech focuses on mechanotransduction, leveraging the body's natural response to mechanical forces. Our innovative stem cell-based therapy enhances bone repair by working in synergy with physiotherapy and movement.


Our treatment is currently in development, with preclinical studies underway. We aim to initiate clinical trials soon and will provide updates on progress and availability.
